VBW - the Dutch Asphalt Pavement Association- is a department of Bouwend Nederland. The members of the department are the road building contractors in The Netherlands. The main goal of VBW is to promote the application of asphalt by emphasising the technical and environmental quality of the product. About 18 companies are member of VBW. The members of the department cover about 95% of the asphalt market in The Netherlands (annual production over 9 million tonnes hot mix asphalt).
